As the Designer at Hum Systems, I designed the packaging design for two essential Livy device accessories: the Livy Desk Stand and the Livy Mounting Kit. These additions empower users to place their Livy Smart Home device wherever it suits them best. Whether on a desk for easy reach or mounted on the wall for a sleek, modern look.

The Challenge

Many Livy users wanted alternative placement options beyond just ceiling mounting. Our goal was to create intuitive, accessible packaging that resonates with Livy’s brand: simple, modern, and instantly recognizable.

Results

The clear visual hierarchy and color contrast make it easy for customers to distinguish between accessories at a glance, while these packages extend Livy’s brand language seamlessly, instantly recognizable on the shelf and in the home. High-quality materials and minimalist graphics create a refined, tactile experience that echoes the premium smart home ecosystem Livy represents.

Results

The new packaging was successfully developed and launched to the market, receiving positive feedback from our customers. Users found the unboxing experience easier and more intuitive, with a noticeable decrease in support calls related to device setup. In the first quarter after launch, packaging-related support tickets dropped by 20%, and surveys showed an increase in customer satisfaction scores tied to first impressions.
